These Tudors have gained momentum in recent years and become very popular amongst collectors and it's easy to see why. .
The Tudor Sub you see here is a reference 79090 in from around 1992. In the early '90s, Tudor reintroduced the Mercedes hands, which are present on the example you see here. This watch has the same exact build as the traditional Rolex Submariner, but with a slightly different dial layout. The crown is the same triple-lock crown with the same Oyster case. One of the awesome things about this Sub is that it still has the plexiglass crystal, while Rolex had replaced these with a sapphire crystal in 1979.
Search for a 1992 Rolex Submariner and then search for one of these and see how many are available. There will be very few Tudor available in comparison particularly in this condition. The case is very sharp and in all round very good condition.
It comes complete with its original folded link bracelet and end links, which is in very good condition for it age.
The watch is in stunning condition, the lugs show lovely graining, are even and thick. The bevels/chamfers are all sharp. The reverse of the watch is in equally good condition with the with brushing to the rear of the lugs and case.
